A former creative director, Robert spent 25 years working for major ad agencies in Chicago and then turned his creative energies to oil painting. 

He has studied with Matt Smith, Ray Roberts, Jeremy Lipking, Brian Blood and Bill Gallen. He's an Artist member of the California Art Club, a member of Oil Painters of America, Laguna Plein Air Painters Association, American Society of Marine Artists and the American Impressionist Society.
